🚴About the Races

Riders compete in grades, generally with a form of handicap to spice it up a bit more. Race formats are tailored to the weather, road conditions, and rider turnout.

On race day, the Race Director sets the tone — deciding group structure and race dynamics.

Race grade guide:

Grade       Average   Speed Range
   A             38 km/h    36–41 km/h
   B             36 km/h    33–38 km/h
   C             33 km/h    29–36 km/h
   D             25 km/h    20–29 km/h
   E-bikes 30 km/h    26–33 km/h

🟢 E Grade: for newcomers. Led by a seasoned rider, the group focuses on safe bunch riding, and basic race tactics. Near the finish, the bunch typically breaks to sprint for a winner. This is a great intro to competitive cycling.
