Join the Club
When you’ve ridden with us a few times and are beginning to understand how it all works, it’s time to join the Club. Subs are due before 1 Jan each year, and membership runs for the year. This aligns with The Cycling New Zealand (CNZ).

Racing locally only?
Club Membership entitles you to take part in our events, plus the perks of being part of our cycling community. Please use Direct Payment to 03-0490-0192753-00, quoting your name.
🛡 Racing at other Clubs or entering Nation Championships?
You’ll want an official license from CNZ, for which you’ll need:
You can sign up for the CNZ license and Club Membership on the CNZ website — just make sure you select Whakatane Cycle Club when prompted.

- Adult – $40
- Junior (under 19) – $25
- Family (1 Adult + 1 Junior or more) – $60
🛡 Racing at other Clubs or entering Nation Championships?
You’ll want an official license from CNZ, for which you’ll need:
- A Whakatane Cycle Club membership (see above),
- And a CNZ license — choose from sport, junior/senior, domestic, or international categories.
